Counselor Li Bin Attends Global China Summit Sponsored by Washington Post

On September 27, Mr. Li Bin, Counselor for Economic Affairs in the Embassy, attended the Global China Summit hosted by Washington Post and China Daily. As a speaker, he outlined the current state of China-US trade and investment relationship as well as the new opportunities and challenges for bilateral trade and investment cooperation, focusing his perspectives on China's investment in the USA. He underscored that trade and investment cooperation between China and the United States has great potentials and the two sides should work together to further deepen the mutually beneficial cooperation so as to foster a healthy and stable trade and investment relationship.

Global China Summit brought together more than 100 leading business, government, academic and media leaders from China, the United States and Europe. Speakers include Chee Hwa Tung, Vice Chairman of China's CPPCC and President of China-Unite States Exchange Fundation, Henry Kissinger, former U.S. Secretary of State and David Miliband, former Foreign Secretary of Britain. The Summit focused on China's growing influence as well as trade investment environment in both China and the USA.
