President Xi Jinping Appoints New Ambassadors

Recently, President Xi Jinping of the People's Republic of China announced the appointment of the following new Ambassadors in line with decisions adopted by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress.

Ⅰ. Chen Xiaodong was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Singapore, replacing Duan Jielong.

Ⅱ. Xu Bu was appointed Head of Mission of the People's Republic of China to ASEAN and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to ASEAN, replacing Yang Xiuping (Female).

Ⅲ. Tang Weibin was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Cote d' Ivoire, replacing Zhang Guoqing.

Ⅳ. Duan Jielong was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Hungary, replacing Xiao Qian.

Ⅴ. Huang Changqing was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, replacing Zeng Xianqi.

Ⅵ. Zhao Bentang was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, replacing Zhao Rongxian.
