Premier Li Keqiang Talks by Phone with Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov

Premier Li Keqiang took a call from Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov on the evening of 18 March.

Li recognized the growing China-Bulgaria relations and noted the ongoing fight against COVID-19 in both China and Bulgaria. He expressed China's readiness to share containment experience with Bulgaria and provide help to the best of its ability. Li said that China will also facilitate Bulgaria's purchase of urgently needed medical supplies from China via commercial channels. China is working with other countries in battling the pandemic and believes that victory will eventually arrive.

Borissov commended China's outbreak response and expressed appreciation for China's offer of help. Bulgaria hopes to receive continued support from China, deepen bilateral cooperation on outbreak response and advance the relations between the two countries.
