Dear Madam Secretary,
I have learned with shock about the deadly shooting incident in Virginia Tech and condemn the deplorable act of violence that has caused severe loss of lives and injuries. On behalf of the Chinese Government and people, I hereby express deep condolences on the death of the victims. I also wish to express heartfelt sympathy to the Government and people of the United States, the injured and the families of the deceased in particular, and best wishes to the injured for their early recovery.
