Chinese State Councilor Tang  Jiaxuan met with David Westin, president of US television broadcaster ABC News in Beijing on Sep.12.

Tang expressed his hope that ABC would expand news coverage of China, contributing to the promotion of mutual understanding between the peoples of China and the United States.
