Wang spoke highly of the results of Geithner's visit to China. He said that China and the US, as the largest developing and developed countries, share far more interests than differences. He hopes the two sides continue to move forward side by side in the spirit of mutual respect and mutual benefit and properly handle differences to avoid the politicization of economic issues.
Geithner said that the two sides conducted sincere and in-depth exchanges on the bilateral economic relations and the world economic situation and enhanced mutual understanding and trust during his visit.
