On January 15, 2011, Chinese State Councilor Dai Bingguo held a telephone conversation with U.S. National Security Advisor Tom Donilon, exchanging views on the preparation work for President Hu Jintao's upcoming state visit to the United States. They agreed both sides would make joint efforts to ensure a complete success of Hu's visit.
