The Ministry of Education is operating a special telephone service to help poor college students from August 1 to September 15.

    The hotline will work around the clock to receive complaints.

    This year, the ministry adopted a new policy, known as the Green Channel Mechanism, to allow students to register for college regardless of their financial situation.

    People can call the hotline when a college does not follow the Green Channel mechanism or other relevant government policies, the ministry said.

    Meanwhile, the ministry has also publicized two more numbers for supervision over irregularities in university recruitment.
