With regard to the Notice on Mandatory COVID-19 Negative Certificates for China-bound Passengers Before Boarding, it is recommended that you read the following information carefully before you travel:
1. Given the current situation of COVID-19, passengers are advised to reconsider their travel plans and avoid nonessential international travel at this time. If you are traveling to China for an essential purpose, a direct flight is highly recommended to minimize risks of infection.
2. Passengers are advised to stay home and avoid exposure to the virus after taking COVID-19 nucleic acid RT-PCR Test.
3. At present, only the negative report of COVID-19 nucleic acid RT-PCR test is accepted, while the results of antibody test, serology test or antigen test are not accepted.
4. Please make sure that essential information is included in your test report in print form: name, DOB, type of test, result of test, report/result date, name and contact information of the test agency. Handwritten information is regarded invalid.
5. The Chinese Embassy and Consulates General are processing the Health Declaration Form seven days a week. However, you are advised to apply for the certification of the Form at least one day before the departure date. Approval for expedite application is not guaranteed.
6. Airline companies are informed of the latest boarding requirements for negative test report. You are highly recommended to inquire of your airlines their specific arrangements before boarding.
