Minister Counselor Zhang Min Attends US National Governors Association Summer Meeting

From July 14 to 16 of 2016, Minister Counselor Zhang Min, on behalf of Ambassador Cui Tiankai, attended the 2016 US National Governors Association (NGA) Summer Meeting held in Des Moines, Iowa. Minister Counselor Zhang introduced the China-US economic and trade cooperation and the investment by Chinese enterprises in the US. Minister Counselor Zhang also expressed the willingness to strengthen the ties with NGA to promote the exchanges and cooperation between the Chinese provinces and the US states.

 

 

Making remarks at the meeting

 

During the meeting, Minister Counselor Zhang conveyed Ambassador Cui Tiankai’s greetings to Governor Branstad of Iowa, Governor Herbert of Utah, Governor McAuliffe,Governor Hogan of Maryland, Governor Haslan of Tennessee, Governor Ricketts of Nebraska, Governor Edwards of Louisiana as well as other governors and invited them to visit China at a time convenient to them.
